What It Is

Oxidation Catalysts help lower engine emissions through chemical reactions that convert carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and aldehydes into carbon dioxide and water.

How It Works

A catalyst assembly – available in profiles to suit many engine applications – is installed in line with the exhaust system in place of the standard muffler. Exhaust flows through a stainless-steel housing containing a catalyzed substrate. Here, chemical reactions work to minimize engine emissions.
